On November 7-8, Lana Karlova, coordinator of NEO Armenia, and Garegin Hambardzumyan, HERE expert, Head of the Department of International Relations of Armenian National Agrarian University, participated in the HERE seminar titled “Towards the 2024 Tirana Ministerial Conference: Implications and points of interest for higher education systems in Partner Countries neighboring the EU”, hosted by the University of Sarajevo and organized by the SPHERE team.

The seminar provided a common platform for the participants from Partner countries as Lebanon, Jordan, Montenegro, Tunisia, Algeria, Moldova, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina to discuss the ongoing Bologna process and the future of development, current issues related to quality assurance at the HEIs, recognition of qualifications, mobility and students’ exchange, greening education, etc.

The seminar in Sarajevo provided a background for the next annual meeting for HEREs and National Erasmus+ Offices, which was held in December 2023 in Barcelona.
