Regional TAM seminar “Developing and Implementing Joint Master’s Degree Programmes: Current Challenges and Prospectives”

On April 25-26Developing and Implementing Joint Master’s Degree Programmes: Current Challenges and Prospectives” HERE regional seminar will be held at Yerevan State University. The seminar is organised by the National Erasmus+ Office in Armenia in cooperation with Kristine Gevorgyan, Higher Education Reform Expert (HERE), YSU Center for European Studies, Coordinator of master’s programs, and the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine within the framework of Erasmus+ technical assistance missions.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES
As a result of the two-day seminar, participants will learn about:

  • the stages of design of the joint master’s programs, their formats and benefits, expected challenges and ways to solve them,
  • implementation of those programs, communication and management mechanisms,
  • quality assurance and accreditation,
  • funding models and sources;
  • leading European approaches to the development and implementation of joint master’s degree programs.

SPEAKER
Ulrike Krawagna is responsible for the management of the Joint Programs and the “CIRCLE” Erasmus Mundus Joint Master degree program coordinated by the University of Graz. As a member of the Austrian Strategy Group for Internationalisation of Higher Education, she was involved in preparing the legal framework for the implementation of joint programs in Austria. 

Between 2007 and 2012 she was also the coordinator of several Tempus capacity building projects as well as Erasmus Mundus Action 2 projects where she was responsible for the creation, implementation and coordination of the project as well as the financial management and reporting. 

FORMAT
The seminars will be held for 2 days, on April 25-26, in a hybrid format which means that the participants will have an opportunity to join the seminars both online (via ZOOM) and offline (at YSU, Yerevan, Armenia).

WORKING LANGUAGE
The working language of the seminar is English.
