#ErasmusDays 2020
Under the high patronage of the European Commission and the European Parliament, in 2020 #ErasmusDays annual celebrations will take place on the 15th, 16th and 17th of October all over Europe and beyond. #ErasmusDays aim to communicate European values, mobility’s benefits and results of Erasmus+ projects in Programme and Partner Countries over three specific days in order to be visible by citizens, professionals, media and policy makers. Last year, 3 995 events were organized in 53 countries during the #ErasmusDays. NEO-Armenia also took part in #ErasmusDays 2019 edition and contributed to this official celebration of multiculturalism, international mobility and active citizenship by organisation of “Study in Europe: Unpack Your Experience” stocktaking seminar with Armenian participants of Erasmus+ and DAAD academic programmes.
Considering the global sanitary crisis we are going through, this #ErasmusDays 2020 encourages organization of blended events, both virtual and physical, such as: webinars, online photo exhibition, hackathons, conferences, quizzes, student shows, podcasts, radio emission etc.
The #ErasmusDays 2020 international campaign is an opportunity for Armenian higher education institutions to showcase their achievements in Erasmus+ Programme, share positive messages accumulated thanks to participation in ongoing International Credit Mobility (ICM), Capacity Building Higher Education (CBHE) and Jean Monnet projects. Erasmus+ Armenian beneficiaries are invited to participate in #ErasmusDays 2020 by not only highlighting their ongoing or former projects, but also initiating events the focus of which can be put on current topics raised by Covid-19 pandemic, such as distance learning, ecology, health, solidarity and social inclusion. The employability of young people could also be a topic to address, given the recent launch of the new Europass platform.
You are free to organize the event that suits you better. The event has to be registered online on the #ErasmusDays website www.erasmusdays.eu and can be shared through social media channels with the hashtag #ErasmusDays.
