“Engineering and Innovation” Summer School 2017
In the frameworks of Erasmus+ ENHANCING INNOVATION COMPETENCES AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS IN ENGINEERING EDUCATION (INNOCENS) project, Armenian National Engineering Laboratories are pleased to announce the start of “Engineering and Innovation” Summer School 2017.
Dates: 03rd of July to 04th of August, 2017
Place: Armenian National Engineering Laboratories (105 Teryan str., building 10)
Target group: 3rd year and above students with technical background
Application deadline: June 15, 2017
Participation at the summer school is free. The personal motivation and relevant experiences are important selection criteria.
Background information
The “Engineering and Innovation” Summer School offers an extended overview of product’s life cycle realization from idea to innovative product.
Technology affects almost every aspect of our lives. And every year technological progress goes faster and faster. The things that were great and innovative today could be old and useless tomorrow. We must keep pace with the times. This situation represents challenges for engineers. More and better communication between different aspects is required, and the best way forward needs to be further developed for idea generation, implementation and promoting it in the market.
Content
The “Engineering and Innovation” Summer School 2017 will have a multi- and cross-disciplinary thematic approach to meet challenges and opportunities related to nowadays engineering and innovation field. The one month Summer School will consist of a series of shared lectures and seminars as well as separate, subject-specific workshops, successful students experience sharing, site visits, industry tours and an engineering challenge project. Industry tours will provide short visits to organizations focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Innovation. The aim of Summer School is to give knowledge and skills in innovative engineering.
The best participants will be supported in bringing idea to marketable product and forming “Start-up” from team.
