Exploitation of Erasmus+ CBHE and JMA projects՛ results

On December 19, at 13:30, an online event will be held to present the results and applications of Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects.

The event aims to showcase the outcomes, achievements, and directions for further development of projects funded under the Erasmus+ “Capacity Building in Higher Education”(CBHE)  action, as well as to ensure the effective dissemination of related information.

The meeting will consist of two parts.

In the first part, the following will be presented:

  • The Jean Monnet actions, their application process, and conditions;
  • The results of the Jean Monnet module implemented at Yerevan State University, funded under these actions;
  • The Jean Monnet Excellence Center at Yerevan State University, which was funded this year and is the first of its kind in Armenia.

In the second part, the results, impact, and implementation of the following four projects funded under the Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE)  action will be presented:

  1. Reforming Doctoral Education in Armenia in Line with Needs of Academia, Industry and Current Eu Practices (ARMDOCT)
  2. “Simulation in Undergraduate Medical Education for Improvement of Safety and Quality of Patient Care”(SAFEMED)
  3. “Support for Innovative Methodology, Approaches and Tools for Teaching Through the Medium of English in Order to Improve Educational Field, Sustainability and Internationalization” (SMARTI)
  4. “Developing Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programmes and Strengthening Research Networks in Geoinformation Technologies in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan” (GEOTAK)

It should also be noted that since 2016, 44 projects involving Armenian universities have been funded under the Erasmus+ CBHE action. These projects have played an invaluable and irrefutable role in the internationalization of universities and the reform of the Armenian educational system.
