“Erasmus Days 2024” Events in Armenia
From October 14-19, within the framework of the international celebrations of “Erasmus Days 2024” various education institutions in Armenia, including:
- Yerevan State University
- National Academy of Sciences (Meeting dedicated to the success stories of researchers)
- State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia (Presentation of results and impressions)
- Eurasia International University, Gavar State University (Presentations by GSU representatives who have studied and taught at European universities)
- Armenian National Agrarian University (Meetings with first-year students)
- M. Nalbandyan State University of Shirak (The report of Erasmus+ T4GREEN program participants) and other higher education institutions, organized events dedicated to the Erasmus+ program. During these events, the opportunities, projects, and prospects provided by the program were presented.
On Օctober 16, as part of the “Erasmus Days 2024” events, scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of RA shared their experiences and positive results from the scientific work conducted during their mobility. Ani Hambardzumyan, Program manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Armenia spoke at the event, highlighting the various opportunities offered by the program, the importance of expanding inter-university collaborations, and their significance for the development of education and science in Armenia.
On Օctober 18, a presentation was held at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia, showcasing the achievements and results of students who had studied abroad through various exchange programs during the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year within the Erasmus+ program. The students shared their impressions in their presentations, emphasizing the importance of the acquired knowledge and experience in both intercultural and educational contexts. The university’s faculty actively participated in the discussion, while the students who had taken part in exchange programs promised to conduct workshops and share their practical knowledge with other students at the academy.
During the event, Ani Hambardzumyan answered students’ questions, discussing the advantages of the Erasmus+ opportunities as well as the necessary steps to get the most out of the program. The students actively engaged in the discussion, sharing their interests and concerns.
Also, on October 15, National Erasmus+ Office in Armenia and the “Erasmus Student Network Armenia” implemented the “Erasmus+4ME” event in the frames of the “Erasmus Days 2024“. These events played an important role in raising awareness of the Erasmus+ program, attracting new students, and strengthening international educational and scientific cooperation.
