Join us on December 23, 2024, 14:00 (Yerevan Time) for an online workshop titled “Towards ‘Green’ Education: Development of Competencies on ‘Green’ Universities in Armenia.” Held on Zoom and conducted in English, the event will feature Dr. Alfonso Marzal Reynolds (biography) from the Zoology Department at the University of Extremadura, Spain. Dr. Marzal Reynolds is a professor with over 25 years of experience in research, focusing on sustainability, global change, and collaborative EU initiatives. He has worked extensively with international research centers and actively contributes to programs promoting greening strategies in higher education institutions.

The agenda includes discussions on:

• Definition and basic principles of sustainability and greening
• Greening in EU higher education institutions
• Challenges faced by EU universities
• EUGREEN: An alliance of European universities for sustainability

Each session will include a Q&A segment for active participant engagement.
