Tempus Monitoring Visit and Erasmus+ Information Session in Goris State University

On May 26-27, 2016 National Erasmus+ Office in Armenia (NEO-AM) staff  Lana Karlova and Edith Soghomonyan visited Goris State University (GorSU). NEO-AM representatives had a meeting with the newly appointed Rector of GorSU Artush Ghukasyan to discuss the developments and needs of past and ongoing 2 Tempus (ARARAT and MAHATMA) and 2 new Erasmus+ (LNSS and HERITAG) projects  with participation of Goris State University. Within the frames of Tempus Cap4Com project (2011-2014) on May 26 an impact monitoring was conducted with the project team representatives of GorSU in order to identify the post project sustainability of Cap4Com at GorSU. The meeting was also an occasion to present the results achieved within the three years of project cooperation. 

On May 27, Erasmus+ Information Session was  organised in order to inform the local beneficiaries about the Erasmus+ Programme, in particular about the Erasmus+ Call for Proposals to be launched in October 2016 and on several actions relevant to the international dimension of Higher Education: Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), International Credit Mobility  and Jean Monnet Activities.

Erasmus+ Information Session welcomed the participation of GorSU top management, administrators, academicians and representatives of non-governmental organisations and employers from Syunik region.
